As a forty something (..uh…umh..) year old trained Medical Professional and mother of two, I realized as other people, the slow increase in my body weight after the age of thirty, corresponding to a decreased metabolism.  I love food and I enjoy eating.  Keeping my weight under control is one of my biggest challenges.  Not wishing to count calories all day or eat only lettuce and carrots, or take diet pills, I embarked on a series of trials of exercise programs and fitness regimes until I found combinations that gave me the results I desired.

I started this website to share my knowledge and experiences with real people with busy lives who are desirous of keeping their weight under control, attaining and maintaining good health and fitness while enjoying delicious, healthy meals.
